Coming Events

2022 Rally will be in Oamaru in mid February.
IORNZ hasn't been to Oamaru for a rally before so it'll be all new interesting territory for everyone with the Pacific Ocean right on our doorstep and almost a guarantee of seeing penguins!!
Plenty of other great spots to visit as well including the whitestone quarries Oamaru is famous for, lots of local history and plenty of great riding roads.
There is likely to be a group taking a few days to get there back home as well.

2023 Rally is all set to go in Bay of Plenty, around the Whakatane area somewhere.

2024 Rally is still to be confirmed but there are talkings of returning to sunny Nelson.

Our Annual Motorcycle Rally

IORNZ holds an annual rally early in the year, for its members or anyone who has an interest in Indian Motorcycles. These are popular events and are well patronised, many members base their restorations and project builds being finished in time for the Rally.

The 2021 rally was based in New Plymouth, Taranaki.   This year we again had a pre rally ride that saw a group of us taking a few days to ride some back roads between Wellington and New Plymouth which included visits to Jerusalem and out to the coast as Marakopa. There were over 45 members and 38 bikes in attendance for the weekend that also included a public display held in central New Plymouth after a ride aroud some great Taranaki roads with the magnificent Mt Taranaki as our constant backdrop.
The AGM and prizegiving events were held at the Surf Riders club in Fitzroy beach where we all had another fun night and awesome sunset to wind things up nicely.
Check out the pictures from this and all our past rallies on the Photo Gallery page!  In previous years it has been held at various places around the country including Ngaruawahia, Cromwell, Whangarei and Haast. These are fantastic rallies organised by club members in the district. Come along and join a great bunch of friendly Indian guys and gals at the next one.

These are fun events full of Indian motorcycle activities - COME ALONG.
